So, where have I been?
Unfortunately, as I’ve mentioned in the past few Week in Review posts here on the blog, I’ve been feeling pretty sick for a pretty long time. Because of that I’ve missed a lot of school, and as a high school student, that also means a LOT of work. Every waking moment that I’m feeling better I’m studying, doing homework, etc. even more than usual, and therefore the blog has been put on the back-burner (not by choice, I might add).
I just wanted to post a little something to let you know that I didn’t die — I’m still here, and have lots of goodies to type up once I’m caught up with my school work! If I feel like I need to take a break from schoolwork I pick up my book, which is definitely comforting. I feel like I’ve been writing way to many excuse posts lately, but I really truly love blogging and reading and will do everything in my power to keep this blog up and running!
As for my reading, I’m currently about halfway done with The Diviners by Libba Bray, which I started for Halloween and really wasn’t expecting to finish it very quickly as it is HUGE. But I’m LOVING it! It totally reminds me of Bright Young Things by Anna Godbersen + The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson — two books that I absolutely ADORE. When I finally do finish that one, The Princess Spy by Melanie Dickerson (Thank you Zondervan!) is next up on my TBR, followed by Dark Triumph by Robin LaFevers, and maybe And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie which my parents kindly bought for me for Halloween!
So that’s what’s been going on with me. I’m hoping to finish and review The Diviners by the end of the week, but as for other posts I don’t expect to be writing many. Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be my major blog resurrection days! And thanks to everyone leaving get-well wishes to me in the comments — you guys are seriously the best, and I love that I have blogger friends like you! ❤
How have you lovelies been? I can’t wait to be more social with everyone again!
