It’s the final day of the Falling for Autumn Read-A-Thon hosted by Ner @ A Cup of Coffee and a Book and I am so happy to be hosting a fun fall-themed challenge!
I challenge you to spell a fall-themed word with the first letters of book titles!
I went for APPLE because I’m totally craving a good apple right about now… 😉
(sorry for the mirror image — my phone broke and I have to use my webcam to take the picture in the meantime)

As for my read-a-thon accomplishments, I finished only 1 book, which I consider pretty good as I’ve been in school the whole week! That book was Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins, and I’ll be reviewing it on Monday!
Another special thanks to Ner for hosting this read-a-thon — I think I’m officially cursed for read-a-thons, but thanks for letting me host a challenge! 🙂 I hope everyone is having a wonderful start to fall…Where did September even go?!?!
Cute! 😀 I know how it feels about reading one book a week–school is hectic right now (I should be studying…) since exams are drawing near!
If I really wanted to give my 100% I would be doing nothing BUT studying…TOO much work for me this year, not enough reading time! AHH! Good luck with studying for your exams and actually taking the exams! I’m sure you’ll do great! 😉
I was wondering why it was backwards, good ingenuity thinking of your webcam. Good job reading one book! 🙂 I’ve been on a one book a week streak too. I know, I can’t believe it’s October this week!
September flew by in a flash…I can’t even imagine how fast October will fly by now. Can I have a time machine to press pause for a couple days?!?!
Ooh! That’s adorable! I’m quite curious about Everneath series but just never got around to reading it. I hope you enjoy October and the holiday upcoming x
I actually haven’t read the series either. I thought the lettering on the spine was kind of Fall-ish or Halloween-ish so that’s the one I used! I hope you enjoy yours as well! 🙂
Mine is food too http://cuidadocomodalmata.wordpress.com/2014/09/29/falling-for-autumn-read-a-thon-spell-a-fall-themed-word-challenge/ 😉
Fall is just a time when I love to be inside with a book, a cat, a coffee, and FOOD! Loved your choice, too. Never would have thought of that…good one! 😉
Thanks, Emily! Chestnuts… nomnomnom
Haha yummy!
Dude, I totally feel you on reading during school–it’s super hard! Even if I wind up with some free time at the end of the day, I’m so sick of reading that I can’t even fathom picking up a “fun” book. And what a great (and adorable) idea for a read-a-thon! I’ll have to try to come up with something that works 🙂
Also, I just nominated you for the Liebster Award! Wanted to share some of the blogger love ❤ https://plantsandpages.wordpress.com/2014/10/01/liebster-award/
Exactly. I’m so drained after school and homework that I really just feel like watching TV or going to sleep. It’s awful — I have to change my habits!
And thank you so much!! ❤ ❤ ❤
My pleasure! ❤
And yeah, I totally agree with you. I've found that I can manage to get some reading in during the school year if I do it when I'm on the elliptical or the stationary bike, though. I think I read 40 pages or so of my current book when I was biking yesterday!
Have a great Monday, Emily! 🙂
That’s a really nice way to do two things at once!
