Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish.
I’m changing things up a little bit this week! Instead of the top books that I really want to read but don’t own, I’ve decided to showcase my top ten books that I’ve read before but for some reason just haven’t gotten my hands on either a physical OR eBook copy (yet). In no particular order…
1. The Selection by Kiera Cass
2. Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn
3. Burn for Burn by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian
4. The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson
5. Bright Young Things by Anna Godberson
6. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
7. Unspoken by Sarah Rees Brennan
8. Chantress by Amy Butler Greenfield
EXTRA: Bought after reading and loving the library eBook – The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
I love the twist you put on this week’s TTT. 😀 I really need to read Dash and Lily – I keep seeing the book around and it looks so good! I also need to read some Jenny Han, because everybody seems to love her. I loved Bright Young Things, and I need to read the rest of the books. The Night Circus has such a pretty cover, it’s worth having on a bookshelf.
Thanks! 🙂 Dash and Lily IS really good, I definitely recommend it. Especially for the upcoming winter as it reads like a summer contemp but it’s set in the winter. Jenny Han is an awesome author. There hasn’t been a book I’ve read buy her that I haven’t loved! And I just got the sequel to BYT so I’m definitely planning to continue the series soon!
The night circus ❤
Right?! ❤ ❤ ❤
Chantress! I haven’t read any of these books (oops) but I’ve been looking at Chantress for a while. I’ve heard mixed things about Dash & Lily, but I probably will read it and now that I’ve heard everybody rave about the Stephanie Perkins books, I can’t wait to get my hands on them. Great twist on this week’s list!
I haven’t really heard much about the Chantress books around the blogosphere but I really enjoy them! And I loved Dash and Lily! And out of Stephanie Perkins’ books I’ve only read Anna, but Lola and Isla are high on my TBR! 🙂
Good to hear, now I definitely can’t wait to get my hands on Chantress! I just kind of stumbled upon it and I thought, “Yes, I need that.” Hopefully I’ll read my first Stephanie Perkins book soon!
Yes! Stephanie Perkins’ books are the best (although I’ve only read one, but I mean everyone raves about the others too!)
I just found an original cover edition of Name of the Star! Actually I have two, the old and new covers. I bought the second copy for trade, or maybe a giveaway prize.

That’s awesome! I like the new covers as they better fit the series as a whole, but the original cover gives me the creeps!
Unspoken! I love this series and the next book comes out soon, I’m so excited.

I really need to continue the series… I haven’t picked up the other in the series, but I loved the first one so much that I really must soon! 🙂
I LOVED Burn for Burn. Have you read Fire With Fire? It’s even better!! I have Anna, but I really want to own The Selection too… Great choices, Emily 🙂
No I haven’t read it yet! I JUST bought it, so I hope to read it really soon….
I really like the spin you put on today’s topic, as that often happens to me- I get a book from the library and LOVE it and regret not having bought it! Especially the ones with the gorgeous covers. I just invested in The Selection series so I hope it lives up to how amazing the covers are! My TTT
Oh yay! The Selection series is definitely one that I wish I had bought all in hardcover. They look so pretty all lined up next to each other on the shelf!
Anna and the French Kiss ♥♥♥ Paris for the win!! 😀
YES!!!
Unspoken is such a lovely cover! I might have to add it to my toreads list at some point.
I really enjoyed it! I really need to finish that series. It’s hilarious!
I like your take on this week’s topic, Emily! A couple on here I’ve been meaning to read, so if you’ve read them already and want to own them, that’s a good endorsement!
The Selection is a series I was interested in and wanted to binge until I heard there’s two more coming now, it just seems like a money-making ploy (shock, horror considering that’s what the publishing business is all about, right? Lol). Dash and Lily is one I’m looking forward to, as well as Unspoken (I like that cover!) and The Night Circus!

Yeah, unfortunately that may be the case, but as long as Kiera Cass keeps writing good books then I guess I can’t really complain!
