Tea Time Rewind – ARC Party!!!

My second Tea Time Rewind post, and it just happens to be for the ARC PARTY!

Before you read my post, make sure to watch this week’s Tea Time ARC Party!

So, what books out of all of the pretties am I most excited for?

All covers (or filler covers) link to the books’ Goodreads page.

Even in Paradise by Chelsey Philpot // October 14th, 2014

Synopsis from Goodreads:

When Julia Buchanan enrolls at St. Anne’s at the beginning of junior year, Charlotte Ryder already knows all about the former senator’s daughter. Most people do… or think they do.

Charlotte certainly never expects she’ll be Julia’s friend. But almost immediately, she is drawn into the larger than-life-new girl’s world—a world of midnight rendezvous, dazzling parties, palatial vacation homes, and fizzy champagne cocktails. And then Charlotte meets, and begins falling for, Julia’s handsome older brother, Sebastian.

But behind her self-assured smiles and toasts to the future, Charlotte soon realizes that Julia is still suffering from a tragedy. A tragedy that the Buchanan family has kept hidden … until now.

These are my types of books when I’m in the mood for a little dark, but not too dark, contemporary read. I can’t wait for this one!!!

Beware the Wild by Natalie C. Parker // October 21st, 2014

Synopsis from Goodreads:

It’s an oppressively hot and sticky morning in June when Sterling and her brother, Phin, have an argument that compels him to run into the town swamp — the one that strikes fear in all the residents of Sticks, Louisiana. Phin doesn’t return. Instead, a girl named Lenora May climbs out, and now Sterling is the only person in Sticks who remembers her brother ever existed.

Sterling needs to figure out what the swamp’s done with her beloved brother and how Lenora May is connected to his disappearance — and loner boy Heath Durham might be the only one who can help her.

This debut novel is full of atmosphere, twists and turns, and a swoon-worthy romance.

Between the cover and the synopsis, I’m definitely ready to be completely creeped out by this one.

Twisted Fate by Norah Olson // January 20th, 2015

Synopsis from Goodreads:

When Alyson meets Graham Copeland, the new boy next door, she instantly feels like he’s a kindred spirit—shy and awkward like her, someone who has trouble making friends. It’s impossible to resist having a crush on him.

As usual, her sister, Sydney, sees things differently. In Sydney’s mind, Graham’s odd personality and secretive past scream psychopath, not sweetheart. Her gut is telling her to stay away from him, and to protect a love-struck Alyson from her own naïveté. But despite her instincts, Sydney is surprised to realize that a part of her is drawn to Graham, too.

And the more Sydney gets to know him, the more she realizes just how right—and wrong—she is about everything.

Perfect for fans of Michelle Hodkin, and E. Lockhart’s We Were Liars, Twisted Fate is an unputdownable novel, teeming with suspense.

I’m so bummed I couldn’t find the cover on Goodreads because it’s beautiful! But I can’t wait for this one because doesn’t sound amazing?!? Like, come to me now, Twisted Fate!

What books did you see while watching and added to your “must-read” list?

  1. Ooh! All of these sound terrific. I have had Even in Paradise on my TBR list for a while now, but I haven’t heard of Beware the Wild and Twisted Fate. Thanks for the heads-up! 🙂

I'd love to hear what you have to say!
